Description
The Shimadzu 228-35935 (also referenced as 228-35935-00) is an Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) rinse seal used in the plunger rinsing assembly of Shimadzu HPLC solvent delivery pumps. Positioned behind the primary plunger seal inside the seal holder assembly, it maintains liquid seal integrity around the sapphire plunger shaft during rinsing cycles. This prevents buffer salt precipitation, protecting primary plunger seals and extending pump component service life in routine liquid chromatography applications.
