About Advanced Life Sciences
Advanced Life Sciences is a global company specializing in technologies, equipment, parts, consumables, and solutions for laboratories, industrial companies, the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, and life sciences.
We are expanding our commercial presence in the United States, with opportunities to develop business across Latin America.
The Role
As our Bilingual Sales Executive, you will develop new business and grow our customer base, owning the full sales cycle: active prospecting, identifying decision-makers, arranging meetings, understanding customer needs, preparing proposals, following up, negotiating, and closing.
We are looking for someone who creates opportunities and develops markets—not someone who only responds to inbound leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively prospect for new customers and business opportunities.
- Build, develop, and manage your own sales pipeline.
- Identify laboratories, industrial companies, distributors, businesses, and potential partners.
- Reach prospects by phone, email, LinkedIn, virtual meetings, and in-person visits.
- Understand customers’ technical and commercial needs and present appropriate solutions.
- Prepare proposals and quotations, track their progress, and follow up consistently.
- Lead negotiations from initial contact through closing.
- Develop long-term relationships with customers and partners.
- Grow existing accounts and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Keep CRM records, contacts, opportunities, and the sales pipeline up to date.
- Track sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Monitor market developments, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
- Represent Advanced Life Sciences at meetings, industry events, conferences, and trade shows as needed.
- Collaborate with technical, administrative, logistics, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Fluent English.
- Fluent Spanish.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- B2B sales experience.
- Experience or a strong aptitude for outbound prospecting and new business development.
- Ability to negotiate with stakeholders at different levels within an organization.
- Strong organizational skills, disciplined follow-up, and a focus on achieving targets.
- An independent, proactive, results-oriented approach.
- Ability to learn technical products and solutions.
- Comfort working in an international, multicultural environment.
- Availability for off-site meetings, customer visits, and travel as needed.
Work Authorization
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Must not require current or future employer sponsorship for employment authorization or visa status.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or knowledge in the following areas is a plus:
- Life sciences, the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, or laboratories.
- Scientific or analytical instrumentation and laboratory equipment.
- HPLC, UHPLC, and chromatography.
- Analytical instrument parts and consumables.
- Medical devices and scientific distribution.
- International trade.
- Portuguese language skills.
Who We’re Looking For
You have a strong commercial mindset and are comfortable opening new relationships, finding decision-makers, presenting solutions, developing opportunities, and guiding negotiations through to a successful close. You combine clear communication and initiative with sales discipline, relationship-building skills, and the ability to close business.
What We Offer
- An opportunity to contribute to the growth of our U.S. commercial operations.
- An international, entrepreneurial environment.
- Exposure to customers and partners around the world.
- A portfolio serving high-value markets.
- Opportunities for professional development.
- Competitive compensation.
- A performance-based commission and incentive structure.
