Description
The Agilent 0905-1718 is a genuine OEM polyethylene (PE) wash seal designed for liquid chromatography (LC) solvent delivery modules. Installed in the active seal wash mechanism of Agilent pump heads, it provides a seal around the plunger shaft to contain wash fluid. Continuous wash solution flow flushes the rear of the primary high-pressure piston seal, removing buffer salt residues, organic salts, and particulate precipitation before they can crystallize and damage the piston or main seals. Constructed from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (PE / UHMW-PE), it delivers high chemical resistance and durability for reverse-phase chromatography applications. Compatible with Agilent 1100, 1200, 1220, 1260, and 1290 Infinity LC pumps. Sold individually (1 per pack).
