Description
The Agilent 01018-07102 Film Washer (also designated as a seal wash gasket) is a precision component installed within the seal wash assembly of Agilent liquid chromatography pump heads. Positioned inside the support ring assembly behind the primary piston seals, this transparent film washer creates a protective fluid seal, allowing washing solvents (typically water/isopropanol) to flush salt deposits, buffer precipitates, and mobile phase residues away from the piston shaft. Regular replacement of the seal wash gasket prevents solvent leakage, minimizes piston wear, and extends overall pump maintenance intervals. It is widely used across Agilent 1100, 1200, 1220, 1260, and 1290 LC pump systems, and is included in standard preventive maintenance (PM) kits such as G1310-68742 and G1312-68741.
