Description
The Waters AccQ-Fluor Reagent Kit (PN WAT052880) enables rapid, quantitative, and sensitive derivatization of amino acids for High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with fluorescence detection. The kit utilizes 6-aminoquinolyl-N-hydroxysuccinimidyl carbamate (AccQ-Fluor / AQC), which reacts in seconds with primary and secondary amino acids to yield stable, fluorescent derivatives. Samples are excited near 250 nm and detected at 395 nm. Quality controlled specifically for HPLC applications using AccQ-Tag reverse-phase C18 columns and eluents, the kit includes AccQ-Fluor reagent powder, reconstitution solvent (acetonitrile), and borate buffer. It offers picomole-level sensitivity with minimal matrix interference, making it suitable for protein hydrolysate analysis, food/beverage quality control, clinical research, and biotechnology applications.
