The Pfeiffer Vacuum IKR 251 is a compact cold cathode gauge (inverted magnetron principle) designed for high vacuum pressure measurement from 2x10^-9 to 1x10^-2 hPa/mbar. Features a DN 25 ISO-KF flange, FPM sealing, and logarithmic output signal.
Description
The IKR 251 ActiveLine Cold Cathode Gauge measures vacuum pressure over the range of 2 × 10^-9 to 1 × 10^-2 hPa (mbar) using an inverted magnetron ionization measurement circuit. Operating with a supply voltage of 15–30 V DC and consuming maximum 2 W, it provides a logarithmic analog output signal between 1.8 V and 8.5 V DC proportional to pressure. The DN 25 ISO-KF model (Pfeiffer PN PT R25 500 / 2000006117) utilizes molybdenum anode material, ceramic Al2O3 feedthrough, stainless steel housing, and FPM internal seals. Maximum bakeout temperature with electronics removed is 150 °C, and maximum overpressure rating is 10,000 hPa (absolute). High reliability, rugged design, corrosion resistance, and insensitivity to sudden air ingress make it ideal for high and ultra-high vacuum measurement in analytical, research, and industrial vacuum applications.
